SOUTHERN INTERIOR REGIONAL ECONOMIC SUMMIT
About
Mission
The Southern Interior Regional Economic Summit (SIRES) is a collaborative space where leaders come together to shape the future of economic development across British Columbia’s Southern Interior. Our mission is to strengthen the regions’ economies through inclusive dialogue, practical strategies, and cross-sector partnerships that reflect the diverse voices of Southern Interior.

Why SIRES Exists
Rural and regional economies face distinct opportunities and pressures, climate transitions, sector shifts in forestry and tourism, infrastructure gaps, and Indigenous–municipal reconciliation.
SIRES exists to address these dynamics head-on, empowering leaders across sectors to drive place-based economic solutions that truly work.

SIRES is made possible through the collective effort of regional champions, including:
– ETSI-BC

Our partnerships are rooted in respect, equity, and the belief that economic resilience is built together.
